Maria is an entrepreneur, angel investor and engineer who likes building things with mobile and internet technologies.
She mentored the Stingray’s team (sold, £80m) in its early steps as a Qinetiq spin out, invested in Pervasic (sold) a mobile enterprise application and in Ciphergrid, a man-and-a-dog startup where she became the CEO and helped build an R&D-award winning database-in-the-cloud in the Database Dark Ages of 2004.
She studied engineering, has an MBA and worked with web technologies at Ernst & Young and Andersen.
