Colin Smith

Colin is a business leader, entrepreneur and angel investor with 30 years in the software services sector. He joined the industry in the early 80‘s with senior management positions in the 90‘s including Sales and Marketing Director at Mentor Systems plc., then 6 years as Managing Director of COINS, the world's leading construction ERP vendor.

Colin founded BIW Technologies Ltd., in March 2000 then led the development of the business to become the UK’s leading supplier of SaaS-based project management software. Having sold BIW to Munich-based Conject Holding GmbH in December 2010, Colin became Group CEO to implement a new strategy to position the Group for growth and profitability by re-shaping the businesses, integrating disparate entities and to build and/or buy new regional operations in Europe, the Middle East and Asia Pacific.
